JOSHUA IS 10!

Joshua turns 10! His birthday is June 30th 1999. A couple of years ago we decided that a birthday party was too young for joshua, so we decided to get 3 of his good friends and invite them to Blue Bayou and Dixie Landin in Baton Rouge. It is a water park/amusement park that is great fun!! So it works out perfect that he has a summer birthday to do this. I think they have more fun doing this than having a birthday party. So now we have made a little family tradition to go each summer to celebrate Joshua!

This was about 6 months ago, Marlie first real attempt to write her name without my help. She was just coloring at her table and wrote her name, I was so proud.

This is Marlie's BFF, her mom and I are good friends and Marlie and Reagan have become the best of friends. Marlie just went to her first rodeo and had her first sleepover with Reagan. They love each other and play so well together.

Just one year ago Hannah Hope arrived into our life. She is such a sweet, loving baby. I am really excited/sad for this next year to watch her turn into a little girl. But as I watch her every day I know those baby days are coming to an end. I pray everyday for her to follow God's will for her life and I pray for the guidance to set an example and teach her the way.

Marlie goes to Jefferson street preschool and they always have great fun. Today was their SPLISH SPLASH party so they were able to wear their swim suits to school so I got some Fancy pics of Marlie before we left for school. SO CUTE!! Thanks mom for the cute swim suit!!!

Marlie loves her Granny more than anything, probably more than her parents. But I think that relationship goes both ways, my mom loves that little girl more than anything also, probably again more than her daughter. But that is OK with me because I love those two very much and it makes my heart happy that they have a great relationship. They are both left handed and Marlie was named after my mom so what can I expect. Anyways, mom will do about anything for Marlie and this was her weekend to have some fun in the sun at Granny's house. So last weekend mom got out all of the swimming pools and let her go at it. Boy she had a blast!!

Well, right when I am getting used to do this blogging thing. Both of our digital camera decide they don't want to work. Hopefully if we cannot get these camera's working, I will be out buying another one. Please give me any suggestion on the best camera's!!!

Hannah's first tooth

Well I am so excited because we have reached another milestone of my youngest, yet a little sad because this is another reminder that my little girl is growing up. I spotted Hannah's first tooth this morning!!! Just starting to poke through!! Marlie didn't get her first tooth until she was 12 months old and I was kind of thinking that would be the case for this one, but guess not! That is about all for now, I will keep you informed on this tooth and many more to come!!!

Well, Our camera is not working but I wanted to post some exciting things that Hannah is doing. She has learned how to sit up. She still tumbles over some but for the most part she can sit up very well.
She just started getting on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, so before I know it she will be crawling.
She is eating cereal and fruit in the morning, 2 veges and 1 fruit for lunch, and 2 veges and 1 fruit for dinner.
We just had her 6 month appt with Dr. Russ yesterday and she said than I can start her on a sippy cup!!! O MY, she is getting to be a big girl!! It is bitter sweet, I guess.
That toothless grin i get just melts my heart! Hopefully I will have some pics soon.

Hahhah's bedding , I love it!!! I had it made at the Cotton patch in Brookhaven. I got to pick out whatever fabric I wanted and they created the bedding!!

Josh and I before we moved to Natchez. I think this was Easter '04, but not sure. This is our townhouse in Baton Rouge pre-girls!! Josh looks so different with his head shaved!! O well this is me figuring out how to upload pics! I think I've got it!!!

Back again, but no pics yet... Just a little update on the girls. Hannah's hand/eye coordination is really improving she is grabbing everything, she is grabbing her rattles, blankets, actually everything that is close and she can get her hands on. She has found her feet and now she is trying to figure out how to get them into her mouth. She really notices when we eat, she watches as the food goes to our mouth. I think she really wants a bite!
Marlie is mommy's little helper, she entertains Hannah while mommy gets ready for work. Sometimes she wants to help too much. Just recently, I was getting ready while the girls were in the living room and it got really quiet so I decided to walk in there and Marlie had taken Hannah out of her bouncy seat and was "burping her" across her lap. Hannah was not bothered by that, but I was!!!
My favorite time of the day is in the morning when my two beautiful girls wake up. I feel like it is Christmas morning every morning when I see there sleepy faces. The first thing Hannah does is smile really big and it is a smile that melts my heart. Then Marlie walks down the stairs and her hair looks really crazy and she is rubbing her eyes and they I get a big smile and a big snugly hug. I cherish these moments. I think these girls are definitely going to be morning girls, just like mommy! They wake up no later than 6:30am, I am lucky if they sleep until 7:00am. Well that is all for now. Thank you Lord for these children.

Just started our very first blog for our family. Not sure quite what to do yet, but just going to try it out and see what happens. Our friends all have blogs and I love going on and reading what is going on with there life, so I thought others might want to do the same with us. Well here goes!
